EMMITSBURG, Md. (July 31, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's rising junior Annie Carey is ready to compete on the national stage once again with her participation in the 2025 Toyota USATF Outdoor & Para National Championships. The events runs July 31-August 3 in Eugene, Oregon.
 
Carey competes in three events, beginning with the 200m at 5 p.m. Friday (Aug. 1). On Saturday she will perform in the long jump at 1:45 p.m. followed by the 100m at 6:40 p.m. All times listed are Eastern.

The meet presents a possibility to advance to the USA's Para World team, which heads to India for the championships in the fall.   
 
Last year, Carey competed in the Paralympic Games in Paris, France, setting a Paralympic record and an American record.
