EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 20, 2026) – After a strong finish during the 2026 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Indoor Championships, Mount St. Mary's received high marks in the poll for the Outdoor Track & Field season.
On the men's side, they were picked second in a close poll, receiving 90 votes and four first place votes out of 10. The women also earned a top five placement, earning a fourth place projection and 116 points.
Both teams took top three finishes at MAAC Indoors, as the men earned a runner-up position and the women took third.
Ethan Demeter and
Madelyn Valpy set school records in the process.
The outdoor season begins this weekend with Mount St. Mary's competing at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
