EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 28, 2026) –
Marta Gonzalez Alvarez and
Garrett Wilkerson registered victories in their events, and several Mount St. Mary's track & field athletes cracked the top 10 in school history as the team competed in meets at Lafayette and Navy.
Gonzalez Alvarez won the 100m hurdles at Lafayette, finishing the race in 14.65 seconds. The mark ties the ninth best time in program history. At Navy, Wilkerson completed the 400m in 47.92 seconds to claim victory.
Three Mountaineers joined Gonzalez Alvarez in earning top 10 program history marks.
Lorelai Paxton now ranks fifth in Mount history in the javelin, registering 42.06 meters.
Maeve Parrish ran the 1500m in 4:38.74 to earn eighth best all-time at the Mount, and
Aidan Crawford threw the discus for 47.08 meter for the ninth best school distance.
A total of 11 efforts from the weekend now ranks top five in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) for the season.
Jacey Hentz now stands first in the pole vault at 3.66 meters, joined by Crawford with his effort in the discus. Paxton's javelin and
Joshua Dean in the 200 meters (21.69 meters) rank second among MAAC competitors.
