MOUNT STORY LINES
- Mount St. Mary's saw Western Michigan pull away in the second half for an 83-60 win over the Mount on Sunday. The Mount trailed 46-45, but Western Michigan scored the next seven points to regain control. From there, the Broncos continued to stretch the lead. Arlandus Keyes led the Mount with 15 points while Luke McEldon added 13 in the game.
- Mount St. Mary's is 0-25 all-time against the Big Ten Conference, including a 95-90 overtime loss at Maryland on November 19. The Mount has played Penn State (0-8), Maryland (0-6), Minnesota (0-4), Ohio State (0-2), Michigan State (0-2), Indiana (0-1), Michigan (0-1) and Northwestern (0-1).
- The Mountaineers are 0-2 all-time against Ohio State, falling to the Buckeyes on Nov. 27, 1989 (102-63) and Nov. 15, 2015 (76-54). In the 76-54 Ohio State win in the last meeting, sophomore guard Junior Robinson paced the Mountaineers with 16 points while Charles Glover added a career-high 11 points in the loss. Jae'Sean Tate led the Buckeyes with 21 points and nine rebounds while Marc Loving (15 pts, 11 rebs) and Keita Bates-Diop (10 pts, 10 rebs) added double-doubles.
