MOUNT STORY LINES
- Mount St. Mary's dropped an overtime heartbreaker at Maryland, 95-90, on Wednesday night. The Mount led by five with 30 seconds remaining in regulation, only to see the Terrapins tie the game on a deep three-pointer by David Coit with 12 seconds left. Maryland was able to hold off the Mount in the overtime period. Career highs from Arlandus Keyes (22 points) and Xavier Lipscomb (17 points) paced the Mountaineers in the game.
- This will be the second all-time meeting between the Mount and Western Michigan. The Broncos won the first all-time meeting, 87-66, on December 22, 2012, in Kalamazoo. WMU used a 10-0 run late in the first half to take a double-digit advantage, and were able to keep the margin above 10 points the rest of the way.  Rashad Whack led the Mount with 16 points, while Shayne Whittington led all scorers in the game with 24 points for the Broncos.
- Mount St. Mary's is 0-2 all-time against teams in the Mid American Conference (MAC). The Mount's last game against a MAC team was the loss at Western Michigan in 2012. The only other matchup was a 74-61 loss to Akron on Dec. 19, 2005, at the San Juan Shootout.
- Mount St. Mary's is 0-3 all-time in games played in the state of Michigan. The last time the Mount played in the state was a 64-47 loss at Michigan on Nov. 26, 2016. The Mount's three previous games in the state were at Michigan (11-26-2016, 64-47), at Michigan State (11-29-2013, 98-65) and at Western Michigan (12-22-2012, 87-66).Â
- The Mount's matchup with the Broncos is the fourth game of a five-game road trip that concludes on Nov. 25 at Ohio State.
- Justin Amadi had eight offensive rebounds in the Mount's overtime loss at Maryland. It was the most offensive rebounds in a game by a Mount player since Nana Opoku had eight at Merrimack on November 9, 2020. It is just the 15th time the Mount has had a player grab eight or more boards on the offensive glass since moving to NCAA Division I in 1988-89. The record is 12 set by Malik Jefferson at American on December 18, 2018.
- The Mount went 17-for-36 (.472) from three-point range at Maryland. The Mount is 40-for-93 (.430) from beyond the arc over the past three games, averaging 13.3 makes per game over that span.
