EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 15, 2024) – Niels Peeters led all Mount runners by finishing in 79^th place at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. The men's team finished in 25^th place in the 10k race while the women's team finished in 30^th in the 6k race.
 
Peeters ran the race in 31.49.1. He maintained his spot in the top 100 throughout the entire race, with his finishing place of 79^th being the highest position he held.


John Ruona finished in 140^th with a time of 32:48.4, followed by Kevin Zaleski (173^rd, 34:14.7), EJ Villaver (34:18.9), and Alex Campagna (186^th, 35:15.2) round out the scoring for the men's team.
 
The Mount women were led by Mary Campbell, finishing 180^th in the 6K with a mark of 23:37.6. Nuria Escudero Jimenes finished in 182^nd with a time of 23:38.2, followed by Laura McConville (190^th, 23:52.1), Isabella Pla (24:07.8), and Courtney Dickens (24:45.9) round out the scoring for the women's team. 
 
The results conclude the 2024 Mount cross country season.
