MOUNT UPDATE:Â The Mount dropped a tough 1-0 decision at Manhattan on Saturday with the Jaspers scoring the lone goal of the contest on an own goal with just over 10 minutes remaining.Â
Klil Keshwar made five saves for the Mount in the game that did saw just 15 shots combined by the two teams.Â
Luisangely Navas leads the Mount with two goals and five points this season. Keshwar has started seven games in goal, and has a 1.43 goals against average and 42 saves (.808 save percentage) on the year.Â
ABOUT SAINT PETER'S: Saint Peter's was edged by Siena, 2-1, at home on Wednesday to fall to 3-5-0 overall and 1-2-0 in the MAAC. The Peacocks own wins over Hampton (5-2), Delaware State (3-1) and Marist (1-0) this season. Alyssa Hackett leads the team with four goals and four assists for 12 points while Gianna Grassifulli has three goals and an assist for seven points. Annabelle Adams and Emma Lopes have each made four starts in goal. Adams started against Siena, allowing two goals while recording three saves.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES WITH SAINT PETER'S: The Mountaineers hold a 6-4-0 lead in the all-time series with Saint Peter's that began in 1993. The Mount's 1-0 win over the Peacocks last year was the first meeting between the two teams since 2012. The Mountaineers are 1-3-0 all-time at home against Saint Peter's with the last matchup in Emmitsburg being a 1-0 overtime win by the Peacocks on September 18, 2011.
