ABOUT MARIST: Marist fell to 2-2-1 in the MAAC and 2-6-3 overall with a 4-0 home loss to Siena on Wednesday night. Maddy Catalanotti made seven saves for the Red Foxes in the loss to Siena. The Saints held a 17-to-6 shot advantage in the game, including an 11-to-0 margin in shots on target. Marist has scored just three goals this season with Brook Ceregol, Grace Hotaling and Anna Maggie each recording one goal. Catalanotti has appeared in 10 games in goal with a 1.47 goals against average and 35 saves (.761 save percentage). Marist's MAAC wins both came by 1-0 scores (Rider and Manhattan).
THE ALL-TIME SERIES WITH MARIST: Mount St. Mary's is 2-1-1 all-time against Marist after last year's 2-2 tie at Waldron Family Stadium on campus. This will be the first meeting between the two teams in Poughkeepsie since the Mount's 2-1 overtime win on October 18. 1996, when the two schools were both members of the Northeast Conference.Â

WHERE WE STAND: The Mount is currently in a four-way tie for fourth place in the MAAC standings midway through the conference schedule. The Mountaineers are tied with Siena (2-1-1), Canisius (2-1-1) and Marist (2-2-1) with seven points in league play. The top six teams in the MAAC regular season advance to the conference championships.
