EMMITSBURG, MD (September 22, 2026) – Looking for their second straight victory, Mount St. Mary's women's soccer travels to Rider to face the Broncs.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
Erin Antone scored the game-winning goal in the 80^th minute, giving the Mount a 3-2 win over Saint Peter's last Saturday. Cassidy Nichols scored, giving her the team lead with two goals. Payton Meara added her name to the scoresheet with the second goal of her career. Abby Makela recorded seven saves, bringing her season total to 45.
 
SCOUTING THE BRONCS
 
Rider is looking for their first points in Metro play on their fourth try. The Broncs have three goals with Ella Baumgardt, Cali Friedel, and Bethie Morgan all scoring once. Ashley Moore has played every minute in goal, registering 37 saves. Friedel scored the most recent goal for Rider, coming August 27 versus Temple.
 
SERIES HISTORY
 
The series in almost event, with Rider holding a 4-2 advantage, with three draws. The past two meetings have been ties – a 1-1 final in 2024 and a 0-0 final in 2025.
