EMMITSBURG, MD (September 12, 2026) – Junior
Caoume Valle scored her first collegiate goal as Mount St. Mary's women's soccer opened the home portion of the Metro Conference schedule. The visiting Bobcats sent in early strikes to capture a 4-1 win.
Valle's goal came in the 41
st minute.
Jessica Ras tallied her first collegiate assist on the play, and
Erin Antone earned her first of the season.
For Quinnipiac, Addyson Earl tied a school record, assisting on all four goals.
With the result, Mount St. Mary's is now 0-5-2 on the season and 0-1-1 in the Metro Conference.
HOW THE GAME UNFOLDED
- Quinnipiac scored three times in the opening ten minutes. Anna Bean got the first goal in the fifth minute, followed by Isabella Marie Torelli in the ninth minute. Leading scorer Morgan Cupo posted a 10th minute goal.
- Mount made some tactical changes to limit the damage for the remainder of the half.
- In the closing minutes before halftime, Ras sent forward a ball to Antone. Valle snuck in behind the defense to score in the lower left corner of the goal.
- Cupo secured a brace with a counter attack goal in the 85th minute.

Next Saturday (Sept. 19), the Mount travels to Saint Peter's for a noon kickoff.
