EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 9, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's outdoor track & field resumes its season following a break from competition over Easter Weekend. In an almost even split, the Mountaineers head to meets hosted by Messiah and JMU.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Messiah's meet takes place over three days, with the Mount beginning competition on Friday and extending into Saturday. JMU is a one-day meet beginning on Saturday morning.
MOUNT UPDATE
- Mount St. Mary's competed at meets hosted by Lafayette and Navy.
- Marta Gonzalez Alvarez won the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.65 seconds, which ties a top-10 mark in program history.
- Garrett Wilkerson won the 400m with a time of 47.92 seconds.
- Three Mountaineer recorded performances that rank among Mount St. Mary's all-time top 10, including Aidan Crawford in the discus and Maeve Parrish in the 800m.
- 11 performances from the meet rank among the top five in the MAAC this season.
FUTURE MEETS
- Members of the team will travel to the IC4A/ECAC Championships on April 18-19. That same weekend, fellow Mountaineers will compete at the Navy Spring Invitational.
