EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 6, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's junior goalie
Camille Thomas was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) women's lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league on Monday.
Thomas completed 17 saves over the course of the week as the Mount went 2-0 with wins over Siena and Iona. In the victory over Siena, she finished with eight saves, including a stoppage in overtime that set up the game winner. Against Iona, she added another nine saves while limiting the Gaels to four goals allowed.
Over 13 starts this year, Thomas has registered 95 saves, ranks second among MAAC goalies in save percentage, and third in goals against average.
The Mount battles Fairfield this Wednesday (Apr. 8).
