Six Mount Women’s Lacrosse Players Earn All-MAAC Selections

EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 24, 2026) – Six members of the Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse team earned postseason honors from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Friday. The group is led by Offensive Player of the Year and First Team Attack Brooke Molchanoff.

Midfielder Shannon McTavish and Defense Hailey Chester earned a First Team selection for their respective positions. MK Allingham received a Second Team nod for attack, while Haylee Bittinger and Ava Kraszewski finished the season as All-Rookie selections.

Molchanoff leads the MAAC in goals and points per game. Her 58 goals are divided out to 3.63 per game and her 78 points spread to 4.88 per game. The 58 goals are fifth among all players nationwide and ninth when divided into per game. Molchanoff also set the school record for goals in a game with nine versus Lehigh, making her one of five Division I athletes to achieve the feat this season. If the season ended today, Molchanoff's goal count would rank third in program history for a lacrosse campaign.

McTavish sets the tone for the team by attaining draw controls, earning 84 on the season to lead the team and rank fourth in draw controls per game for the MAAC. Against Radford on March 4, she won 19 draw controls, which is tied for the 12th most by any D1 player this year. The junior left her mark on both ends of the field as well, with 33 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers on defense, and by scoring 29 points, divided into 18 goals and 11 assists, on offense.

Chester stands top 10 in the MAAC for caused turnovers per game (5th, 1.81), ground balls per game (7th, 3.69), and draw controls per game (7th, 3.69). The lone senior to earn a First Team nod this year, she further etched her name in the Mount's record book, becoming the second player in program history to reach 200 draw controls. That occurred in the team's game at Fairfield, where Chester also collected her 100th career ground ball.

Allingham was the right-hand woman of the Mount's offense, providing 27 assists, tied for fourth among MAAC leaders. She also could score the ball herself, matching her assist total with 27 goals. Allingham earned four assists on three separate instances and found her stride on a higher level with a six-goal game March 28 versus Rider.

Bittinger and Kraszewski shined in their first collegiate seasons, finishing a respective third and fifth among Mountaineers in points. Bittinger contributed all-around contributions of 19 goals, 18 ground balls, 18 draw controls, and 11 assists. Kraszewski was third on the team for goals scored with 24 and figured in the draw control conversation with 25 for the season – third behind McTavish and Chester.

Mount St. Mary's received a Player of the Year honor for the first time as a MAAC school, and the first for the program since Zoe Hurlburt was 2022 Midfielder of the Year for the Northeast Conference. For Chester and Molchanoff, the duo has received All-MAAC honors two years in a row with these selections.

In addition to the athletic accolades, 15 Mountaineers earned MAAC All-Academic honors. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. A full list of honorees is below.

The Mount are the #4 seed in the MAAC Championships and host the First Round against #5 Siena this Sunday (Apr. 26). First draw control is at noon from Waldron Family Stadium.
