EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 26, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse conceded the winning goal to Siena in the closing seconds of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) First Round. The gut-wrenching defeat concludes the Mount's season, and they will finish with a record of 10-7 for the year.
A silver lining was sophomore
Brooke Molchanoff becoming the third person in Mount history to earn 60 goals in a season. She ties the second-most, previously earned by Jordan Butler in 2019, and the record holder Katelyn Catanese, who had 64 in 2008.
Molchanoff tied for the team lead in goal with
Haylee Bittinger, each scoring twice.
Ava Kraszewski,
Morgan Ortega,
Morgan Baird, and
MK Allingham all registered a goal. The defensive duo of
Hailey Chester and
Mackey Fick each generated three caused turnovers.
