EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 20, 2026) – Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play gets underway Saturday as Mount St. Mary's travels to Merrimack.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
  • It was an up-and-down week for the Mountaineers, playing a fantastic game to win 20-12 over Lehigh, then falling after a strong start against Delaware by a 17-5 final.
  • Brooke Molchanoff set the program record for goals in a game with nine against the Mountain Hawks, then followed it up with a three-point game at Delaware. Molchanoff is second in the MAAC for both goals per game and points per game.
  • First-year competitors also shined last week, with Morgan Ortega earning a career high in goals against Lehigh, and Ava Kreszewski adding two against the Blue Hens.
  • Camille Thomas had her best game of the season versus Lehigh, completing 12 saves. She had eight more in the Delaware game for 20 on the week.
  • Mount St. Mary's is looking to have another strong MAAC season after going 7-1 last year. The team was picked second in the conference's preseason poll.
SCOUTING MERRIMACK
  • The Warriors have three straight victories coming into MAAC play, defeating New Haven, Radford, and Presbyterian.
  • Hailey Schnider and Lindsay Atkinson share the points lead with 29 apiece. Schnider has more goals with 21 and Atkinson more assists with 10. Sophia Ingenito possesses the highest number of assists with 12.
  • Hannah Lawrence Is the primary goalie, with 59 saves and a .415 save percentage.
ALL-TIME SERIES
  • Mount St. Mary's is 3-0 against Merrimack, winning 20-5 in 2021, 13-5 in 2022, and 18-5 last season.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE

Returning to Emmitsburg next Wednesday (Mar. 25), the team battles Marist in a 1 p.m. midweek matinee.
