EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 13, 2026) – One final non-conference bout awaits Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse as the team heads to Delaware Saturday.
MOUNT UPDATE
- In their finest offensive performance of the season, the Mountaineers toppled a strong Lehigh team by a 20-12 final. The 20 goals mark the highest team output since April 15, 2023 against Marist.
- Brooke Molchanoff set the Mount's single-game record for goals in a game, scoring nine against the Mountain Hawks. The record overtakes the previous high of eight set by Jen Stocker in 1997 and matched by Abby Osmeyer in 2023.
- Morgan Ortega earned her career high in goals with four, earning her third hat trick of her freshman season.
- Camille Thomas reached double-digit saves for the first time in 2026 with 12, and earned a season best .500 save percentage.
SCOUTING DELAWARE
- The Blue Hens are also playing their final non-conference game of the year before facing their first Atlantic Sun challenger. They are on a one-game winning streak, defeating Drexel 13-6.
- Ella Rishko has the most goals with 17 and Jaclyn Marszal has the most assists with eight.
- Steph Marszal is the team's goalie, recording 49 saves for the year.
ALL-TIME SERIES
- The Mountaineers seek their first victory over Delaware on their fifth try. Last season, the Blue Hens won the contest, 12-9, in Emmitsburg.
