Mount Women’s Lacrosse Hopes to Secure First Win Streak with Home Game Versus Lehigh

EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 10, 2026) – Looking for a second win in a row, Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse faces Lehigh in a Wednesday at Waldron Family Stadium.     
 
MOUNT UPDATE
  • The Mountaineers have hit a pattern of loss-win through their first six games. Last Wednesday, they picked up their third win with a 15-6 defeat of Radford. Shannon McTavish registered the single game record with 19 draw controls. That set up nine different goal scorers, led by Brooke Molchanoff and Morgan Ortego with hat tricks.
  • McTavish is now second in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) for draw controls per game at 7.67 per game and 46 for the season.
  • Molchanoff is third in the MAAC for points per game, averaging 3.83 a contest and 23 for the season to lead the Mount. MK Allingham and her nine assists rank fifth in the MAAC for assists per game.
 
SCOUTING THE MOUNTAIN HAWKS
  • Lehigh brings a five-game win streak to Emmitsburg and is looking to pick up their third straight win over Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) competition. The Mountain Hawks dismantled Manhattan 20-3 and defeated Rider 19-11.
  • Five members of the team have 10 or more goals this season, led by Nina DeNicola with 18. Molly Snow has the most points with 31, split into 17 goals and 14 assists.
  • Michala Jennings is the primary goalie with 41 saves and three of the five victories. Snow also has the most caused turnovers with nine, followed by Grace Martel at eight.
ALL-TIME SERIES

Lehigh holds an 8-2 series lead, including a seven-game win streak dating back to 2008. The teams last met in 2018, where the Mountain Hawks prevailed 9-8 in triple overtime.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE


This coming Saturday (Mar. 14), the Mount travels to Delaware. It marks the final non-conference tilt before the start of MAAC play.
