Mount Women’s Basketball Signs Zaria Harleaux for Spring Semester

EMMITSBURG, Md. (December 17, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's women's basketball announces the addition of Zaria Harleaux as a member of the 2025-26 team for the spring semester.

Harleaux will be active effective for the December 19 game against Marist, which is the Mount's Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) opener. She will wear jersey number 8 – the first person in program history to sport that number.

A fifth-year player from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Harleaux played the last two seasons at Xavier University in her home state. A regular starter, she averaged 18.1 minutes per game as a forward with an average of 7.1 points. She shot 40.6 percent from the field and added 5.7 rebounds a contest. Her highest in-game point total was 20 during a game against Huston-Tillotson on January 16, 2025.

Prior to her time at Xavier, Harleaux competed at the Division I level for Mississippi Valley State. She excelled for the Devilettes with 10.6 points and eight rebounds per game, adding 41 assists, 26 steals, and 16 blocks. Before MVSU, she was a reserve for hometown team of Southern, competing in 31 games over two seasons for the Jaguars.

Harleaux's addition brings the Mount's roster to 15 players.
