MOUNT UPDATE

 At the 2024 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships, the men's cross-country team took seventh place while the women's team finished in 12th place.
Â
Niels Peeters was the Mount's top competitor at the MAAC Championships, running the men's 8K in 24:46.7 to earn a 18
th place finish. Peeters also beat his personal record from earlier this year of 25:13.7 by 27 seconds.Â
Elizabeth Freymann led the women's 6K for the Mount with a time of 22:30.0, landing 50
th among the group and beat her own personal record from last year by 1.9 seconds.

LAST YEAR'S CHAMPIONSHIPS

Michael Chipi led all Mountaineers with a time of 31:42.2 in the 10K event, finishing in 83
rd place. Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Rookie selectionÂ
Niels Peeters finished in 31:55.2 to take 97th place.
