EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 21, 2023) – Four Mount St. Mary's cross country runners finished in the top 20 of their respective races at Lebanon Valley College's Last Chance Invitational in Annville, Pennsylvania Friday evening. The women's team finished third in the team standings, and the men's team did not factor into team scoring since they entered four runners in the meet, one short of the requirement.
Emily Klotz led the Mount in the women's 6K with 26:25.10, the highest placed performer for the school at 14
th place. Right behind her was
Madison Garcia, coming in 15
th with a 26:34.39. On the men's side,
Seth Lassiter finished in 19
th place, running the 8K in 27:35.50.
Ellie Bomberger matched his placement in the women's race with a 27:08.10.
Isabella Pla (28:40.92, 40
th) and
Sofia Aguilar (29:25.58, 50
th) also factored into the Mount's third place score.

The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships take place next Saturday (Oct. 28) in Riverdale, New York.
