Emmitsburg, Md. (April 3, 2022)--The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team dropped a non-conference matchup to Navy, 7-0, on a cold and windy afternoon at the Mount St. Mary's Tennis Courts.
Despite the final score, singles play was tightly contested with three matches extending to three sets.
Filippos Zachiotis fell to Navy's Finn Garner, 6-2, 5-7, 6-0 at the No. 1 singles postion while the Mount's
Giovanni Abriola was edged by Luke Garner, 6-7 (5-7), 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 singles.
Nick Huynh fell in three sets at No. 4 singles to Navy's Connors O'Brien, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3.
The Mount is back in action on Tuesday with a home match against Gettysburg.
