BALTIMORE, MD (September 20, 2026) - On the final day of competition in the McClure Invitational, hosted by Loyola, Mount St Mary's men's tennis participated in exhibition matches against Loyola University where they continued their successful start to the year. 

In their exhibition matches, and for the third day in a row, the Mount won all of their doubles matches and swept the weekend in doubles competitions. The Mountaineers also added three wins on the singles side of play. Stefanos Pournaropoulos, Nick Makris, and Federico Strocchi all  won both their singles and doubles matches to go perfect on the day. Alexi Roy, Ryan Wagner, Akarsh Gaonkar, and Antoine Martel all went 1-1 on the day, winning in the doubles matches, but coming up short in singles.

UP NEXT: Mount St Mary's men's tennis will head to Hamden, CT for the Metro Masters on October 2 The women's team will head to Towson this Friday, September 25 to compete in the Towson Invitational.
