BALTIMORE, MD (September 19, 2026) - On their first day of competition, Mount St. Mary's men's tennis competed in the McClure Invitational, hosted by Loyola. In a hidden dual with Dickinson College, the Mount prevailed by a score of 5-2. 

The Mount swept the doubles, and captured several victories on the singles side. Three players - Ryan Wagner, Antoine Martel, and Akarsh Gaonkar - took wins on both the doubles and the singles side. Wagner and Martel prevailed in a 7-5 extra set over their doubles counterpart. Wagner then won 6-0, 6-3 in singles and Martel captured victory 6-2, 6-2. Gaonkar won a 7-4 tiebreaker in the singles competition. 

Day two of the McClure Invitational takes place Saturday, September 19.
