BALTIMORE, MD (September 19, 2026) - On day two of competition in the McClure Invitational, hosted by Loyola, Mount St Mary's men's tennis stayed hot to take home another win. In a competition against Morgan State, the Mount held on to win by a score of 4-3.
The Mount for the second day in a row, swept Morgan State in the doubles matches and won two of the five on the singles side. Stefanos Pournaropoulos was the stand alone Mountaineer who won in both the singles and doubles matches. Ryan Wagner also stayed perfect on the year winning his single match in a tiebreaker fashion 7-3. Alexi Roy and Alessio Guarino split the day and went 1-1 as they both won the doubles matches but lost in the singles.
The final day of the McClure Invitational takes place Sunday, September 20.
