MESSIAH INVITATIONAL | GEORGE MASON SPRING INVITATIONAL
April 9, 2022--The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Messiah Invitational and the George Mason Spring Invitational this weekend.Â
Dylan LaNoue won the high jump at Messiah while
Richard Gilchrist won the 110m hurdles at George Mason to highlight the Mount's performances.
At Messiah, LaNoue won the high jump with a Northeast Conference best mark of 2.02m. Teammate Andrew LaManna finished third by clearing 1.99m. Antonio Wesley finished in fourth place in the triple jump with a leap of 13.13m.
At George Mason, Gilchrist won the 110m hurdles with a time of 13.97 seconds.Â
John Wang finished second in the 3,000m steeplechase with a time of 9:15.62. Wang's time is the second-best mark in the NEC this season.Â
Todd Charles finished sixth in the 100m dash with a time of 11.09 seconds while
Colin Kelly was fifth in the 800m with a time of 1:51.41.Â
Billy Cook cleared 1.99m in the high jump for a sixth-place finish while
Carter Nave was tied for fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.82m.Â
Dylan Myrie placed sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.78m.
The Mount track and field teams are back in action at the Bucknell Team Challenge on April 23.
