EMMITSBURG, Md. (October 23, 2022) – Sophomore
Ellie Bomberger and freshman
Moseley Driscoll led the way for Mount St. Mary's cross country during the Lebanon Valley College Last Chance Invitational Friday.
Earning a time of 26:50 flat in the women's 6K, Bomberger took 33
rd place at the meet, leading five Mount women's runners.
Natalie Spadaccini (27:49.8) was second among the teammates, followed by
Madison Garcia (28:12.1),
Sofia Aguilar (29:56.1), and
Isabella Pla (30:01.0).
Driscoll paced a trio of men's competitors, logging a time of 28:03.8 in the 8K to finish 29
th.
Michael Cunningham (28:14.5) finished in the 35
th position, followed by
Nicholas Hildebrandt (29:36.6).
The women's team compiled a sixth-place finish during the event while the men's group did not factor into the team scoring.
The meet concluded the regular season. Next up is the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday in Loudonville, New York.
