MOUNT UPDATE
The Mount women's lacrosse team had a strong bounce back performance after their loss to George Mason with an 18-7 rout of Campbell on Wednesday afternoon. Jordan Butler had a stellar performance scoring five goals and dishing out four assists to lead the Mountaineers to the victory. Erin Anderson tallied her first career hat trick, registering four goals to help widen the margin over the Lady Camels. Kate Kinsella (2g, 1a), Alayna Pagnotta (3g), Carly Miller (1g, 1a), Zoe Hurlburt (1g, 1a), and Jordan Groover (1g, 1a) all recorded multi-point efforts. Jenna Oler made 11 stops in net before she was taken out by freshman Madison Bradley when the Mountaineers gained a sufficient lead late in the second half. Bradley made her first career save in her first seven minutes of collegiate action. The Mountaineers now sit at 4-1 and are set to take on another 4-1 team in Lafayette on Saturday afternoon.

SCOUTING THE LEOPARDS

Lafayette comes into Saturday's showdown with the same record as the Mountaineers at 4-1. The Leopards are currently riding a two-game win streak after defeating Manhattan 10-9 in a double overtime thriller their last time out. The only loss for the squad came at the hands of Binghamton (9-7), who the Mountaineers took down in overtime earlier this season. On offense, the Leopards are led by sophomore attacker Olivia Cunningham who has posted 13 goals and seven assists in four games. At the X, Colleen Bannon and Ally Hickey each have 12-plus draw controls to lead the Leopards. In cage, Quinn Lacy has started all five games and posted 7.24 goals against average with 47 saves.
