Hilton Head, S.C. (Thursday, March 5th) – The Mount men's tennis team concluded a strong showing at the Hilton Head Classic with a 5-2 win over Holy Cross. Jackson Wood, Gabriel Santos, Alonso Garcia, and Jean Armstrong all posted match victories for the Mountaineers who finish the Hilton Head Classic with a 2-1 record. On the women's side, the Mountaineers fell to South Carolina State 6-1. Alexa Quintanilla recorded the only point for the Mount with a 6-4, 3-6, 10-5 singles win. The final match for both the men's team (Tiffin) and the women's team (Tiffin) was cancelled due to rain.
