MOUNT UPDATE
This past weekend, the Mount women's tennis team opened up their 2020 spring break with a pair of losses to Liberty and Longwood. The Mountaineers will look to the Hilton Head trip to try and gain some momentum as Northeast Conference play begins to heat up at the end of March. A busy slate of games during this month could be what the team needs to get going and string together some victories.
SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
South Carolina State comes into this week's matchup on a two-game winning streak after starting the dual season 0-4. They were able to take down Western Carolina 4-0 and then Towson 4-1 to move them to 2-4 in 2020. The defending MEAC champions will look to keep that momentum going as they take on the Mountaineers Tuesday.
SCOUTING THE DRAGONS
Tiffin started the 2020 dual match season on a strong note, winning their first seven matches to register a 7-0 record. However, the past two times out, the team has dropped matches to Ferris State (4-3) and Florida Southern (5-2). The Dragons are led by Anais Geslin who currently has a 14-2 record during the 2019-2020 season, including a 5-0 record at #2-singles. Anais Geslin and Emily Sim have been Tiffin's best doubles team registering a 6-2 overall record.

This will be the first ever meeting between Mount St. Mary's and Tiffin University in women's tennis. With the Bulldogs of South Carolina State, this will be the second all-time showdown. The first meeting came back in 2000 where the Mountaineers took down the Bulldogs 5-4.
