Malibu, Calif. (September 26, 2019)—Mount St. Mary's senior Alexa Quintanilla competed in the first round of the Oracle ITA Masters held at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center on the campus of Pepperdine University on Thursday.
Quintanilla was paired with Bryant's Guido Argentini in the first round of the mixed doubles against top-seeded Keegan Smith and Abbey Forbes. The UCLA pair posted a 6-0 victory in the match to move on to the round of 16. In singles play, Quintanilla lost against top-seeded Natasha Subhash from the University of Virginia by the score of 6-0, 6-1.
Quintanilla will now play in the consolation round tomorrow.
