ABOUT THE INVITATIONAL
The invitational is a 'Point of the Compass' format, with each team consisting of two players and each round consisting of a doubles match and two singles matches. The winner of the best-of-three advances to the next round.
MOUNT UPDATE
The Mount women's tennis team is coming off a good showing at the Bison Invite this past weekend at Bucknell University. Alexa Quintanilla finished in 7th place in the singles "A" bracket. Logan Lencheski won the singles "B" consolation bracket after defeating Marist's Madison Price. The Mount's doubles pairing of Mia Pittman and Taylor Cook advanced to the semifinals before falling to a duo from Villanova in that round.
FLASHING BACK
At last year's Loyola Invitational, the Mountaineers grabbed first and fifth place in the tournament. The duo of Quintanilla and Taylor Cook earned first place and the pairing of Hannah Davis and Megan Smith took home fifth place.
