COMPLETE RESULTS
Baltimore, Md. (September 22, 2019) – The Mount St. Mary's tandem of Jean Armstrong and Evan Hine lost in the championship match of the Loyola Men's Tennis Invitational which concluded today. The Mount's Jackson Wood and Alonso Garcia prevailed in the third-place match today.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Armstrong and Hine fell to Morgan State's Nihit Rawal and Shrey Gupta by a 3-0 score. Morgan State won the doubles point by a 6-1 margin. Gupta posted a 7-6 (7-0), 6-3 win over Hine while Rawal downed Armstrong in the singles matches.
- In the third place match, Wood and Garcia posted a 2-1 victory over Loyola's Matt Fitzmaurice and Skyler Gates. Loyola captured the doubles point with a 6-3 win, but the Mount won both singles matches to earn the victory. Wood beat Gates, 6-3, 6-4 while Garcia won over Fitzmaurice when he could not play due to injury.
