MOUNT UPDATE:  Mount St. Mary's fell at Sacred Heart, 3-0, on Sunday to drop to 3-11-1 overall and 2-5-1 in the Northeast Conference.  Maggie Barron made seven saves for the Mountaineers in the game.  Elisabeth Rockhill leads the Mountaineers with two goals this season while Barron has a 1.66 goals against average and a .824 save percentage on the year.

ABOUT THE SEAHAWKS:  Wagner has lost its past four games to fall to 4-10-1 overall and 2-4-1 in the Northeast Conference.  The Seahawks lost at home to Long Island, 1-0, this past Sunday.  Maria Nunez leads the team with five goals and 11 points this season while Erin Kelly (8GP, 1.65 GAA, .781 SV Pct.) and Delaney Beck (6 GP, 1.60 GAA, .767 SV Pct.) have split time in goal.

LAST YEAR'S MEETINGMaria Buonomo scored early in the second half to lift the Mount St. Mary's women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory at Wagner last season.  The Mountaineers had a corner kick early in the second half, and were able to capitalize for the go-ahead goal.  Off the corner kick taken by Kayla Hughes, Buonomo was in position to get one past Wagner goalkeeper Katie Viscardi as the Mountaineers took a 2-1 lead.  The Mount defense tightened up the rest of the way, holding the Seahawks to just one shot on goal the rest of the game.  Wagner's Peyton Beck scored on a penalty kick in the 22nd minute for an early 1-0 lead.  Jasmine McCree tied the game just three minutes later.  Click HERE for the box score.

ALL-TIME SERIES:  The Mountaineers hold a 14-12-0 edge in the all-time series with Wagner that began in 1994.  The Mount has won the past two meetings, including last year's 2-1 win at Wagner.  The Mount is 7-5-0 all-time at home against the Seahawks, including a 2-0 win on October 13, 2017, in the last meeting at Waldron Family Stadium.
