ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team topped Sacred Heart 4-3 in the Mount's second match in conference play. The Mountaineers took two out of three matches in doubles competition to earn the point advantage from doubles play. Brandon Wortkotter and Jackson Wood defeated Seiji Hosokowa and Derek Chapman 6-3 in the number one flight. In the second flight, Gabriel Santos and Jean Armstrong topped Byan Einstoss and Cory Seltman 6-3 for the second flight win for Mount St. Mary's.

The Mount and the Pioneers split singles play with three wins each so the one point advantage from doubles action was the decisive point in the match. Armstrong edged Seltman in the fourth flight 6-2, 6-7, and 6-3 for the match clinching point.
