Emmitsburg, Md. (April 2, 2017) - Mateo DeSomocurcio won in the first flight of singles action and Jean Armstrong won in the sixth flight but Mount St. Mary's was downed by Fairleigh Dickinson 5-2 on Sunday afternoon.

The Knights took the point advantage from doubles competition with victories in the first two flights. Wortkotter/Tonon picked up another doubles flight win in the third flight giving them a record of 7-3 together.

DeSomocurcio started singles action strong for the Mount and Armstrong ended it strong but the Knights won the four flights in between them to take control of the match which led to the victory.
