Bethlehem, Pa. (February 25, 2017) - Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team topped by Lehigh 7-0 on Saturday afternoon.

In the first singles flight, Mateo DeSomocurcio, won the first set 6-2 but would surrender the next two sets to George Cooper who would finish the match with the win of 2-6, 7-6 (3), 10-5. Jack Peterson defeated Darren Mast in the second flight 6-4, 6-4 giving Lehigh control of the match. 

In the fifth flight, Brandon Wortkotter took a one set lead 6-3, but would drop the next two sets 6-4, 10-8 giving Jack Martin-Dyer a match victory of 3-6, 6-4, 10-8. 

Lehigh swept doubles action as Lehman and Petersen (Lehigh) defeated Mast and Wortkotter (Mount) 7-5, and Bogard and Nardella (Lehigh) defeated Burau and Armstrong (Mount) 6-2.

Mount is back in action during their Florida Spring trip where they will meet Butler on Sunday March 5.
