Emmitsburg, Md. (OCtober 23, 2017) -- Day four of the men's ITA Atlantic Regional tournament came to a close late Sunday afternoon from the Cooks Tennis Courts at Liberty University.

Jean Armstrong was topped 6-1, 6-2 by Morgan State's Krusinski in the qualifying consolation match on Saturday.

In the singles consolation bracket, Jackson Wood fell to Temple's Dorash 6-2, 6-2 and Brandon Wortkotter edged St. Joseph's Schaeffer 6-4, 5-7, 6-4.

Hampton's Shirin squeaked by freshman, Parth Sharma 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 and Duquesne's Bendel defeated Jean Armstrong 6-2, 6-4 in the flame draw (extra matches) on Sunday.

The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team return to action this Friday, October 27 at Navy for the first day of the Navy Invitational (October 27-29).
