Emmitsburg, Md. (October 20, 2017) -- Day two of the men's tennis ITA Atlantic Regional tournament finished up Saturday afternoon at Liberty University.

Brandon Wortkotter was topped 6-3, 7-6(1) by Penn State's Noah Sutter in the first round of singles competition. Temple's Mark Wallner edged Jackson Wood 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(3) also in the first round of the singles main draw. 

In the doubles main draw, the Mount duo was defeated 8-6 by Virginia's duo of Ammar Alhogbani and Jefferson Dockter. Jean Armstrong and Parth Sharma was topped by La Salle's Rogelio Gonzalez and Connor Merrill 8-4 in the doubles draw.

Day three of the tournament, tomorrow (Saturday, October 20) will consist of the round of 32 and 16 of doubles and the round 64 of singles.
