MOUNT UPDATE
Kelly Maloney and Sammie Knapp tallied two goals apiece, but Mount St. Mary's dropped its Northeast Conference opener to Bryant, 17-7, on Friday at Waldron Family Stadium. Jess DeMeo led the Bulldogs to victory with a game-high six goals, while Shannon Sullivan and Catlin Brown registered five points apiece to help pace the Bryant attack.

Molly Morris is the Mount's leader in points and assists, as she ranks fifth in the conference with 2.81 points per game and 1.09 assists per contest. Nicole Lantuh, the Mount's top goal scorer, ranks eighth in the NEC, averaging 2.00 goals a game. Senior goalie Steph Rurkowski continues to top all NEC goalies with 10.00 saves per contest, while ranking second in both save percentage (.474) and goals against average (11.72).

ABOUT CENTRAL CONNECTICUT
The Blue Devils were downed by Wagner, 15-4, in their conference opener on Friday, falling to 1-9 overall and 0-1 in NEC action. CCSU is averaging just 5.60 goals per contest, which is the lowest scoring offense in the NEC. Senior middie Madison Hughes leads the squad with 14 goals and eight assists, and Marissa Soto and Falynn McCartney are tied for second with 10 goals apiece. Rookie goalie Jackie Branthover owns an 11.09 goals against average and .457 save percentage in 10 starts.

ALL-TIME SERIES
The Mountaineers enter Sunday's matchup with a 14-2 advantage over Central Connecticut in the all-time series, including a 7-1 mark at home. Last season, the Blue Devils edged the Mount by a 9-8 final in New Britain, Conn. Lantuh, Maloney and Knapp tallied a goal apiece for the Mountaineers in the contest.
