Newark, Del. (April 12, 2016) – Austin Blake, Mateo DeSomocurcio and Peter Landis registered victories in singles action to lead Mount St. Mary's University to a 4-3 win at Delaware on Tuesday afternoon.

Blake posted a 6-3, 6-3 win over Mike Furr at the top flight of singles and DeSomocurcio earned a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Tyler Flematti at No. 2 as the Mount claimed wins at the top two spots of singles. Louis Tonon fell to Venkatesh Ramkumar, 6-1, 6-2, at the third flight, Darren Mast dropped a 6-4, 6-4 decision to Blaise Casselbury at No. 4 and Brandon Wortkotter was edged, 6-4, 7-5, at No. 5, but Landis posted a 6-3, 7-5 victory over Alex Sweet at the sixth flight to round out the Mount's singles victories.

Mount St. Mary's swept doubles play, as DeSomocurcio and Blake earned a 6-3 win over Furr and Casselbury at No. 1, Tonon and Wortkotter registered a 7-6 (2-0) victory at No. 2 and Landis and Mast collected a 7-6 (4-0) win at the third flight.

The Mount returns to action this Thursday (April 14) for a match at UMBC at 3 p.m.
