 Nicole Lantuh and Molly Morris tallied three goals apiece to lead the Mount attack, but Niagara was able to hold off the Mountaineers for a 12-11 victory on Friday as the Mount fell to 1-6 overall. Lantuh tallied a team-high four points (3g, 1a), and Morris registered all three of her scores in the second half to pace the Mountaineers on offense, while Kelly Maloney and Nicole Snyder chipped in with two goals each. Goalie Steph Rurkowski took the loss despite making 12 saves and posting a .500 save percentage.
 MOUNT STORYLINES
 • Rurkowski, who's coming off an All-NEC First Team selection a year ago, tops all goalies in the conference with a .506 save percentage and 11.42 saves per contest. The senior from Manlius, N.Y. has led the Mount to the third-best goals against average (11.14) in the league.
 • Senior attack Molly Morris leads the Mountaineers in all three scoring categories with 21 points on 14 goals and seven assists. Morris has already surpassed her career highs in each category, and has tallied multi-goal games on four occasions this season, including a career-high five goals against American. 
 • Four Mountaineers currently have double-digit goals on the year, led by Morris' team-high 14. Lantuh (12g), Maloney (11) and Sammie Knapp are the other top scorers on the squad. Lantuh, the reigning NEC Rookie of the Year, has heated up of late, registering multi-goal performances in each of the team's last four contests.

The team is averaging 12.33 goals per game, led by Rachel Perla (6g, 4a) and Mikayla Place (5g, 3a). Goalie Kerrigan Cummins owns a .362 save percentage and 14.01 goals against average in three starts.
ALL-TIME SERIES
 The Mountaineers and Bonnies are set to meet for just the second time in series history on Sunday. Last season, the Mount earned a 17-11 victory behind six goals from Maloney and four from Knapp.
