• OPENING WHISTLE •
The Mountaineers have dropped three consecutive one-goal games to fall to 0-4 on the season.  This past weekend, the Mount saw American scored twice in a span of 41 seconds late in the game to rally for a 2-1 victory.  On Sunday, High Point scored a pair of goals two minutes apart in the first half after the Mount had taken an early 1-0 lead on an Emma Blair goal.  Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Quinn Costello-Mays started both games, her first two career appearances for the Mountaineers.

• UP NEXT, BATTLE OF BALTIMORE •
  The Mountaineers will compete in the Battle of Baltimore next weekend.  UMBC hosts the first round on Friday, September 11, with the Mount squaring off with Towson at 5 pm and UMBC and Loyola matching up at 7:30 pm.  The Mount serves as the host on Sunday with Loyola and Towson playing at noon, followed by the Mount and UMBC at 2:30 p.m.

• ABOUT BUCKNELL •
* Bucknell has opened the season with a 1-2-1 record.  The Bison topped Towson, 1-0, at home in the season opener and tied UMBC, 1-1, the following game.  This past weekend, Bucknell traveled to California, falling to Loyola Marymount, 3-0, before dropping a 1-0 overtime game at Long Beach State.
* Cora Climo and Sara Bresette have Bucknell's goals this year while Jessica Ratner has started all four games in goal, recording a 1.17 goals against average and a .808 save percentage.

• ABOUT PENN •
* Penn opened the 2015 season with a 3-1 victory over Seton Hall on Sunday.  Sasha Stephens had a pair of goals to lead the Quakers while Lauren Petite added a goal in the win.  Kalijah Terilli gave up one goal without making a save in the win.
* The Quakers host Temple on Friday facing the Mount on Sunday.

• YOUTH MOVEMENT •
* The Mountaineers have 15 freshmen on the roster including redshirt goalkeeper Quinn Costello-Mays.  
* Of those 15 freshmen, 12 have started at least one game this year.  Overall, 14 of the 15 have appeared in at least one game.

• LEADER OF THE PACK •
* Senior Emma Blair is the Mount's active leader with eight career goals, including two this season.
* Blair is one goals away from moving into a tie for 14th in program history for career goals.

• CLOSE CALLS •
* The Mountaineers have lost three consecutive one-goal games.  The Mount last had a longer string of one-goal losses was five consecutive one-goal defeats in 2012.

• FOUR-GAME HOMESTAND •
* The Mountaineers close its season-long four-game homestand against Bucknell.  
* The Mount opened the homestand with a 3-2 loss to Rider, and followed with back-to-back 2-1 loss to American and High Point.
* The last time the Mount had four straight home games was in late September and early October of 2012.
