Mason Tennis Facility | Fairfax, Va.

MOUNT UPDATE: The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis squad travels to George Mason on Sunday to take on the Patriots in the Mount's final road dual match of the year. The team's match against Loyola was postponed until April 14 due to rain, allowing the Mountaineers to close their 2015 regular season at home. The Mount will then participate in the Northeast Conference Tournament from April 17-19.

Four Mount players lead the team with 10 singles wins a piece: Sruthi Kamprath, Danielle Nguyen, Cassandra Powell and Jennifer Smith. Kamprath and Powell have also tallied a team-best 12 doubles wins, mostly at the No. 2 spot. The Mountaineers boast a .533 winning percentage in both singles and doubles play in the 2014-15 season.

LAST TIME OUT: The Mount could not navigate past a tough opponent in Saint Francis U, dropping a 7-0 decision on April 2 against their NEC rivals. The loss snapped a four-match winning streak dating back to March 21.

ABOUT THE PATRIOTS: George Mason has won four in a row entering the weekend. The Patriots most recently defeated Atlantic 10 opponent La Salle, 7-0, on April 4. Prior to the match versus the Mount, George Mason will take on St. Joseph's on Friday and Monmouth on Saturday.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. GEORGE MASON: Mount St. Mary's won the first five meetings with the Patriots at the Division I level and is 7-16 overall in the series. George Mason has won six in a row versus the Mountaineers. The Mount's last win over the Patriots was in 2007, while the program's last road win in the series came in 1990.

NORTHEAST CONFERENCE: All eight NEC teams qualify for the conference tournament, scheduled for April 17-19 in West Windsor, N.J. Teams are seeded based on their regular season performances. In the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll, the Mount was selected sixth, ahead of Wagner and St. Francis Brooklyn. FDU topped the poll with five first-place votes, followed by LIU Brooklyn in second place. Bryant checked in at third, with Sacred Heart and Saint Francis U to follow.

UP NEXT: The Mount hosts Loyola at the Mount Tennis Courts for the regular season finale on Tuesday, April 14. Opening serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
