MOUNT UPDATE: With just six games remaining in the regular season, the Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse team will face a road test at Saint Francis U on Friday before hosting Robert Morris on Sunday. Sophomore Kelly Maloney is the first Mount player to reach 20 goals this season with Sammie Knapp and Erin Seipp not far behind at 16 and 15 goals, respectively. On the defensive end, goalkeeper Steph Rurkowski ranks 34th in the nation with 7.70 saves per game.

LAST TIME OUT: Kelly Maloney tallied her fifth multi-goal game of the season with three, but it was not enough in the Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse team's 13-7 loss to Wagner in the Northeast Conference opener at Waldron Family Stadium on April 3. Nicole Lantuh facilitated the Mount's offense with a career-high three assists in the loss.

Mount St. Mary's dug itself a 6-0 hole in the first 15 minutes of the game as the momentum swung to Wagner. Before the half was done, the Mountaineers cut the deficit down to four on three occasions but were never able to pull even on the day.

LAST SEASON VS. SAINT FRANCIS U: After a slow start led to a 6-2 halftime deficit, the Mountaineers stormed all the way back for an improbable 7-6 win over Saint Francis University at Waldron Family Stadium in last season's home finale. Then-senior Lindsay Diaz scored all three of her goals in the second half, including the game-winning tally with 1:53 on the clock.

Mount St. Mary's outscored Saint Francis by a 5-0 margin in the second half to pick up the squad's first home win of the season. In addition to Diaz's three goals, Erin Seipp posted a pair of goals while Bridget McGann and Kelly Maloney added single goals for the Mountaineers.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. SAINT FRANCIS U: Mount St. Mary's is a perfect 12-0 in the all-time series versus the Red Flash dating back to the initial meeting in 2002. The Mount has gone 5-0 in Loretto, Pa., most recently earning an 11-5 road victory in the series in 2013. In the five all-time meetings played at Saint Francis, the Mount has outscored the Red Flash by an 86-17 margin.

ABOUT ROBERT MORRIS: The Colonials boast the nation's highest scoring offense at a 16.50 goals per game clip. Winners of four in a row, Robert Morris is slated to take on Wagner on Friday afternoon before making the trip to Emmitsburg for Sunday's showdown. RMU, which also leads the nation with 18.20 draw controls per game, is led in scoring by Kristin Yoviene and her 47 points on 27 goals and 20 assists.

LAST SEASON VS. ROBERT MORRIS: In the 2014 season finale, the Mount lost to Robert Morris by a final score of 8-3 on the road at Joe Walton Stadium. In her final collegiate game, senior Lindsay Diaz led the Mount with two goals. Seven different RMU players scored on the day, led by two goals from Kristin Yoviene.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. ROBERT MORRIS: The Mount won the first four meetings with Robert Morris and holds a 7-4 all-time record in the series. RMU has won the last two matchups with the Mount's last victory in the series coming in 2012. The Mount is 4-0 in games played in Emmitsburg in the series.

LANTUH'S IMPACT: After not registering a point in her first two games this season, freshman Nicole Lantuh has tallied at least one goal or one assist in eight-consecutive games. She has recorded three hat tricks and two multi-assist performances during the span.

NEC PRESEASON POLL: The Mount was selected fifth in the NEC Preseason Coaches Poll. Bryant, Wagner and Robert Morris finished 1-2-3 in the poll, followed by Central Connecticut and the Mount. Sacred Heart, LIU Brooklyn and Saint Francis U rounded out the poll.

UP NEXT: The Mount hosts Sacred Heart on Friday, April 17, before an April 19 home game versus LIU Brooklyn.
