Monroeville, Pa. (April 2, 2015) – The Mount St. Mary's women's tennis team could not navigate past a tough Saint Francis U squad, falling by a 7-0 final score on Thursday afternoon at The Club Sport and Health in Northeast Conference action.  

Mount St. Mary's (9-6, 2-1 NEC) had won four in a row entering Thursday's road match, but the Red Flash (5-8, 2-0 NEC) won all three doubles matches as well as the six singles matches on the day.

NEC Rookie of the Week Sruthi Kamprath (Sinking Spring, Pa.) competed in a highly competitive singles match at the No. 3 slot versus Saint Francis U's Alex Sachs. After winning the first set, 6-3, Kamprath could not clinch the victory.

Next on the schedule, the Mount hosts Loyola on Wednesday, April 8, before another home match the following day versus Howard.
