Box Score Emmitburg, Md. (April 12, 2015)—Nicole Lantuh (Bethesda, Md.) scored five goals to lead Mount St. Mary's University to a 13-10 win over visiting Robert Morris on Sunday afternoon at Waldron Family Stadium.
Trailing 4-1 just six minutes into the game, the Mount (3-9, 2-1 NEC) scored nine unanswered goals to close the half to take a 10-4 lead.
Sammie Knapp (Cub Hill, Md.) started the run with an unassisted goal with 18:02 left in the opening half.  Marley Heller added consecutive goals to even the score, and Lantuh scored two in a row to give the Mount a 6-4 lead to chase Robert Morris starting goalkeeper Hallie Yancey.
Molly Morris (Silver Spring, Md.) scored her second goal of the game to give the Mount a three-goal advantage.  Jannel Daufenbach (South Riding, Va.), Kelly Maloney (Ellicott City, Md.) and Lantuh scored goals in a span of 2:24 late in the half to give the Mount a 10-4 lead at the break.
Robert Morris (8-4, 1-2 NEC) scored five of the first six goals in the second half to cut the Mount's lead to 11-9 with 5:09 left in the game.  Lantuh countered with her fifth goal of the game with 1:43 left to push the lead back to three.  Robert Morris' Kristin Yoviene scored with 1:03 on the clock, but Daufenbach's second goal of the game with 0.2 seconds on the clock rounded out the scoring.
Robert Morris held a 29-to-22 advantage in shots in the game with the Mount holding a 20-to-15 edge in ground balls. 
Mount St. Mary's goalkeeper Steph Rurkowski (Manlius, N.Y.) made 13 saves in the win while Erin Seipp (Towson, Md.) had three draw controls and three caused turnovers.  Lantuh led the offense with her five-goal outburst while Knapp added a goal and two assists.  Heller, Morris and Daufenbach each scored a pair of goals for the Mountaineers.
Brittany Byerly and Yoviene each had three goals for the Colonials while Corey Karwacki chipped in two goals and two assists.
The Mount returns to action on Friday, April 17, when Sacred Heart visits for a 4:00 p.m. NEC matchup at Waldron Family Stadium on campus.
