Fairfax, Va. (April 12, 2015) – The Mount St. Mary's University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to George Mason on the road on Sunday afternoon at the Mason Tennis Facility.
The Mount (9-6) fell in the three doubles matches before the Patriots (9-9) earned wins at the six singles matches.
In the tightest singles match of the day, sophomore Mateo DeSomocurcio (Lima, Peru) was defeated by Aaron Capitel at the No. 2 slot, 6-4, 6-3. George Mason won all six singles matches in straight sets.
The Mountaineers close the regular season with a home match versus Loyola on Tuesday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m.
