MOUNT UPDATE: Mount St. Mary's plays its third-consecutive home game on Sunday, taking on Ivy League opponent Columbia at Waldron Family Stadium at noon. At the halfway point of the season, Sunday's game will mark the final non-conference test for the Mountaineers before beginning Northeast Conference play on April 3 versus Wagner. The Mount's balanced attack features four players who have notched 11 or more goals led by Kelly Maloney's 16.
LAST TIME OUT: Senior Erin Seipp became the 19th player in Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse history to reach 100 career points, registering two goals and one assist in Thursday's 16-8 home loss to Lehigh at Waldron Family Stadium.
Seipp picked up her 100th point on an assist with 1:59 left in the first half. The Mount could not slow down the high-powered offense of Lehigh, which pulled away with 10 second-half goals. Freshman Nicole Lantuh carried the Mount's offense with three goals and one assist.
ABOUT COLUMBIA: The Lions struggled out of the gate with five-consecutive losses to open the season. Columbia has since reversed its fortune with three wins in a row over LIU Brooklyn, Yale and Wagner. Taylor Quinn leads the Lions with 20 goals, three of which came on Friday in a 12-5 win over Wagner. In goal, Kelsey Gedin has played every minute, putting together a 10.75 goals against average and a .476 save percentage.
LAST TIME VS. COLUMBIA: In last year's final non-conference test, the Mount was handed an 11-0 defeat by Columbia on a cold and rainy day at Waldron Family Stadium. Six different players scored for Columbia, including Jessie Ambrose, who led the offense with three goals and three assists. Mount goalkeeper Steph Rurkowski made eight saves on the day.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. COLUMBIA: The Mount has gone 0-3 in the all-time series with Columbia dating back to the first meeting in 2012. The Lions have outscored the Mountaineers, 40-9, in the three previous meetings entering Sunday.
SEIPP'S PLACE IN HISTORY:  With eight regular season games left in her career, not including playoff games, senior Erin Seipp still has time to move up in the Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse record book. The Towson, Md. native ranks 17th in school history with 76 goals while checking in at 18th for assists (25) and points (101). Seipp became the 19th player in school history to reach 100 career points on March 26 versus Lehigh.
DOING IT ALL: Now in her sophomore season, Sammie Knapp has emerged as one of the Mount's most consistent players. The midfielder hailing from the Baltimore area has scored in all eight games this year and leads the Mount in draw controls (17) and caused turnovers (9).
MOUNT AT WALDRON FAMILY STADIUM: Mount St. Mary's has posted a 33-34 all-time record at home at Waldron Family Stadium since it opened prior to the 2007 season. The Mount will play 10 games at Waldron Family Stadium this season, which is the most for the women's lacrosse program at the venue for a single season.
UP NEXT: The Mount hosts Wagner on Friday, April 3, in the Northeast Conference opener at Waldron Family Stadium at 3 p.m.
