MOUNT UPDATE: The Mount St. Mary's tennis team readies for the second of three consecutive home games on Saturday, taking on Northeast Conference rival St. Francis Brooklyn. Head Coach Phil Hammond's squad is seeking back-to-back wins for the second time this spring season after defeating Delaware on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT: The Mount's No. 2 doubles pairing of Brandon Wortkotter and Austin Blake picked up a team-leading 11th victory of the season, and the Mountaineers went on to beat Delaware 5-2. The team also succeeded in the singles round, taking four of the six matches with wins by Blake, Mateo DeSomocurcio, Adam Salam and Darren Mast. DeSomocurcio increased his team high singles win total to 13. The victory marked the first time that the Mount had beaten Delaware since 1991.

ABOUT ST. FRANCIS BROOKLYN: The Terriers are coming off of a 7-0 shutout loss on the road against Hofstra on Sunday. The team is led by No. 1 singles player Victor Blasco and No. 2 singles player France Terns-Campus. Blasco and teammate Martin Bedecarratz are the team's No. 1 doubles pair. The Terriers have gone 0-13 since the beginning of the 2014-15 season, and have been shut out in three matches in a row dating back to March 6.

LAST TIME VS. ST. FRANCIS BROOKLYN:  This is the first time that the Mount will face St. Francis Brooklyn since October 21, 2006. In that matchup, the Mount hosted the Terriers and won by a 6-1 margin. The Mountaineers have never lost to St. Francis Brooklyn, keeping a record of 6-0 dating back to the first meeting in April 2001.

STRONG DOUBLES: For the fourth season in a row, the Mount is .500 or better in doubles play. This season, the Mount has won the doubles point in seven of the 11 matches.
