MOUNT UPDATE: Looking to build on the momentum from Sunday's win, the Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team heads to Bucknell for a mid-week match. In doubles play, the Mount's No. 2 pairing of Austin Blake and Brandon Wortkotter has compiled a 10-1 record with sophomore Mateo DeSomocurcio leading the way in singles with 11 victories.

LAST TIME OUT: Competing at home for the first time this spring, the Mount earned a 4-3 win over Wagner on March 15 in the Northeast Conference opener. The Mount swept the three doubles matches before adding singles victories at No. 1 by Austin Blake, No. 3 by Adam Salam and No. 6 by Peter Salomon.

ABOUT BUCKNELL: The Bison have gone 5-6 in the spring season, most recently posting a 2-3 record in five matches in Orlando, Fla. Bucknell's No. 1 singles player Nick Bybel earned Patriot League Player of the Week honors on March 16 after going 5-0 in singles during the week to improve to 26-3 on the season.

LAST TIME VS. BUCKNELL: In a highly-contested match that went down to the wire, the Mount could not slip past Bucknell and was handed a 4-3 defeat at home last spring. The Mount picked up the doubles point with wins by Austin Blake/Mike Zabetakis at the No. 2 slot and Darren Mast/Louis Tonon at No. 3. In singles, Blake (No. 2) and Mast (No. 5) were victorious, but the Bison won the remaining matches to come away with the road win.

ALL-TIME SERIES VS. BUCKNELL: Mount St. Mary's has gone 2-15 in the all-time series with Bucknell at the Division I level. After winning the first two meetings in 1992 and 1993, the Mountaineers have been on the losing end of the last 15 matchups.

UP NEXT: The Mount hosts UMES on Saturday, March 21, and Delaware on Sunday, March 22, at the Mount Tennis Courts.
